C-family programming languages

I understand Valgrind, but it just discovers memory management concerns. Exactly what I am searching is a tool that offers me an introduction, which parts of my program do take in how much memory. A visual representation with e.g. a tree map (as KCachegrind provides for Callgrind) would be cool. I am working on a Linux maker, so windows tools will not assist me extremely much.
